Skills Gained
Confidence and ability to assess treat and get help for any casualty even while afloat on the boat. Have knowledge of all the latest protocols regarding CPR and best practise treatment. Perform CPR to current protocols, and understand the differential for drowning. Understand the importance of the recovery position and the need to modify it for a small space.

The certificate can be used in your application to become an RYA Instructor or towards a commercial examination for a skippers certificate of competence.
