Wanted something different to do for our friends 50th birthday. Had a fantastic time, it was amazing to see the views of Glasgow from the Clyde, even saw a seal out having his lunch.

FAQs

  • No - we don’t plan on anyone getting wet. Our boats are open and seated, and the ride is designed to be comfortable and dry. The only time you might get wet is from the rain, so we recommend dressing for the weather.

  • Wear something comfortable and warm. Pointed heels must be removed to protect the boat tubes.

  • Yes - kids love it! Children must be aged 2+ so we can safely fit a lifejacket.

  • Yes - we recommend booking online to guarantee your place.

  • Sometimes, if space is available - but advance booking is strongly recommended.

  • If conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll contact you ahead of time. For peace of mind, choose flexible cancellation at checkout.

  • Our main pontoon at Seaforce Powerboats is wheelchair accessible, but the boat itself isn’t - guests need to stand briefly to board.

(Doughnuts on the Clyde only) The pontoon at Krispy Kreme Braehead is more difficult to access and involves stepping down and moving under a safety rail, which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

If you have any questions before booking, just let us know - we’re happy to help.
  • There’s no toilet onboard the boat or pontoon, but Riverside Museum has public facilities during opening hours.

(Doughnuts on the Clyde only) You’ll also have access to toilets at Krispy Kreme during your stop.

  • Late arrivals may miss their departure and cannot always be rescheduled, so please arrive 10 minutes early.

  • Yes - dogs are welcome on private hire trips only. Select “Bring my dog” at checkout for a small fee and we’ll provide a dog lifejacket.

(Doughnuts on the Clyde only) One guest may need to stay outside with their dog during the stop at Krispy Kreme.

  • (Doughnuts on the Clyde only) Yes — please bring a card or contactless payment if you’d like to buy doughnuts. Krispy Kreme Braehead does not accept cash.

  • (Doughnuts on the Clyde only) We stop for around 20 minutes, giving you time to grab doughnuts, watch them being made, and relax before heading back along the Clyde.
