Parking

There is a car park located in front of the Riverside Museum and The Tall Ship. There is an hourly charge to Glasgow City Council currently £1.60p/h.

Do I Need To Bring Anything?

  • Sunglasses! (Even if it's not sunny) We go fast so the wind might make you tear up a little.

  • A jacket to keep you warm and dry. It gets cold on the river some days.

  • Money (If you've booked Doughnuts On The Klyde or Dumbarton Rocker for your snacks)

What Happens in Bad Weather?

We check the forecast days in advance. If it is not suitable to go out on the boat we will inform you as soon as possible. You will be offered a full refund or gift voucher.

When Should I Arrive?

5 minutes before your scheduled booking please! Meet us at the top of the pontoons.

Clothing and Footwear

Wear what ever makes you comfortable. It does get chilly on the water so have a jacket ready. Check the forecast to make sure you are kept dry!

Will I Get Wet?

Unless it rains, you are very unlikely to get wet. Please remember that this is a water based activity and there may be waves. Mother Nature prevails!

Are There Any Restrictions?

You have to be older than 2 years old. If you're reading this then you are old enough. Please contact us if you have any medical concerns.

Are There Toilets?

The Riverside Museum and Tall Ship have public toilets during opening hours. We do not have any toilets on the pontoon.

Will I Get Seasick?

Due to the speed of the boats it is almost impossible to get seasick. 

Booking Cancellations

Fast Boat Ride cancellation policies can be found here. If we happen to cancel or postpone a ride due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. weather, you will be offered a full refund or gift voucher to rebook.

Can I Take My Dog?

If you have booked a private hire fast boat ride, you are welcome to take your doggo onboard. Please ensure your dog is happy and comfortable! No refunds offered for unhappy doggos. (we wuuuv dogs)

When Do Trips Run?

The frequency of fast boat rides depends on demand e.g. good weather. Expect plenty in the summer and sunny days. Check our social media for updates or click the 'book now' button on your chosen ride to see the next available time.

What If I'm Late?

Please let us know ASAP if you think you're going to be late. We can hold the boat for no longer than 10 minutes after scheduled booking time. If you miss your time slot, we will offer you a 25% discount on your next ride, however, you will not receive a refund. 

Can I Change My Booking Time?

To change your booking time, please contact us in plenty of time. 

Can I Take Photos?

Of course! Make sure other passengers are happy too. Smile, and make sure you tag us in your pics!

Family / Group Discounts?

Our private hire boat rides offer a reduced cost PP, so get the crew ready. If your party is more than 10 people, please get in touch to we can work out a plan together.

Get the most out of your training.

Located just off the M8 - and with free all-day parking - Seaforce Powerboats is easy access. 

Parking

All Seaforce Powerboats students will be given free parking during their course. Info sent out in your joining instructions. 

Do I Need To Bring Anything?

  • A packed lunch or money if you're eating out.

What Happens in Bad Weather?

The course will still go ahead, unless it is deemed unsafe for your chosen course. We plan our courses in accordance to the forecast, and will let you know if there are any issues.

When Should I Arrive?

Arrive +/- 5 mins of course start time. We always start off each day with a cuppa and some chat. 

Clothing and Footwear

Waterproof, warm gear. Grippy shoes. 

Will I Get Wet?

If you're participating in a powerboat course, there is the chance you will get wet. We are in Scotland so there may be a chance of rain if we're on the boat all day.

Are There Any Restrictions?

Most courses have a minimum age and assumed knowledge / experience. Check them out. 

Are There Toilets?

The Riverside Museum and Tall Ship have public toilets during opening hours. We also have access to an out-of-hours toilet in the museum. 

Will I Get Seasick?

On powerboat courses we are on the boat for longer periods. If you're prone to seasickness let us know beforehand.

I'm Nervous About The Course

If you're feeling in any way nervous, please give us a wee text or call. We're happy to chat and make you feel comfortable for whatever reason. 

When Do Courses Run?

The frequency of courses differs every month. We will strive to publish all course dates as soon as possible on our social media. You can also see the next available date by clicking 'book now' on your chosen course.

What If I'm Late?

It's ok if you're a wee bit late. We have our cuppa and chats in the morning. If you think you're going to be more than 15 minutes late then let us know. 

Can I Change My Booking Date?

To change your booking date, please contact us in plenty of time.

When booking your ride/course, you'll see "add promo code or discount code". Enter the unique code and the voucher will be applied! Simples.
