Course Description

This course involves planning in detail a longer daytime coastal passage which you will then undertake on the water. It includes more advanced boat handling and how to cope with rougher conditions. You will feel confident enough to get about on inland and coastal waters during daylight hours. An excellent course if you are planning a longer passage in both inland and coastal waters, going somewhere different e.g. harbours and marinas further away up or down the coast. It includes planning and undertaking a longer coastal passage to further build your confidence. A day out with your instructor, have some lunch somewhere different. Although the syllabus has detailed content, making good progress through the course is truly exhilarating! The course may be conducted in a variety of boat types, both planing and displacement.
